I am constantly at war with myself over self-promotion of my work as a graphic designer. I go through phases of thinking I need to work as hard as possible to spread the word of how I can help people with creative projects. Other times, I fall into a lull of thinking that if people need work, they will come to me. In a conversation with a friend about not receiving projects he asked me how much time I was putting into advertising myself – none. “How can you expect to get anything if you don’t give anything?” he asked.

So I go back and forth on self-promotion, but I hope this time it’s not just a phase. For all of you out there, I am working, I am for hire, and I want to help you complete your project. Let’s make something beautiful.
