Been a good week. Best part was driving to LA in an afternoon to see Phoenix, a French alternative rock group. Met up with a friend I met through XXXchurch and chilled in a cool part of town, Silver Lake. Cool place. It was nice to get out of Las Vegas…even for just the afternoon.

Phoenix was pretty rad. I’d like to say I have some incredible concert story, but I don’t. Other than crowd surfing, getting a backstage pass, and smoking some cigars with the band in the Green Room. French boys sure know how to party. Just kidding. That’s inappropriate.

No crazy story. Just a good, clean, fun concert at a nice outdoor theater. The Greek Theater was nice.

Tomorrow night is The Killers here in LV at Mandalay Bay. And…Phoenix is opening for them! So I’m in for another treat. Craig is trying to get us to go to Creed next weekend. He feels bad because he missed Kid Rock so he thinks this will make up for it. I told him I will go if he buys an Ed Hardy shirt.

We’ll see what happens.
